Massage therapy is a field that has been recently growing in popularity. Many of our customers enjoy a wide range of benefits associated with this type of therapy including reducing muscle tension, reducing stress and anxiety, and in some cases, it even helps to reduce depression.
There might be a number of reasons why you have been considering getting a massage. Maybe you are seeking to release stress and tension brought on by your busy schedule. Perhaps you are suffering from pain in your lower back or other areas of your body.
Which type of massage should I get?
The type of massage you get will depend on your needs. While both Swedish and Deep Tissue massages have excellent benefits, our knowledgeable therapist will help you determine which one will better address your needs.
Our Massage Services
As one of the most common types of massage, the Swedish massage is sometimes referred to as a classic massage. While a Swedish massage involves the whole body, it is regularly used to release muscle tension on the neck, shoulders, or lower back area.
Our massage therapists will use firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation and muscle tension utilizing massage oils or cream and using smooth gliding strokes.
Deep Tissue Massage
This type of massage is designed to remove severe tension, relieving both muscles and connective tissue below the surface. After a discussion with your therapist, he/she will begin the massage focusing on the problem areas discussed.
This type of massage is commonly used to improve the range of motion and heal injuries below the surface.
Myofascial Release/Dermal Scraping
Myofascial Release is a technique that incorporates gentle sustained pressure in order to stretch and repair the connective tissue between your muscles (fascia). This in turn helps your body to properly heal from injuries and helps to eliminate pain and restore range of motion.
A powerful yet gentle touch. Aimed at increasing movement in the lymph system to detoxify areas with stagnant fluids. This therapy moves 1/2 cup to 1 cup of lymph allowing the circulatory system to absorb and remove. (This is a Non-Medical version, Those clients with removed lymph nodes or other lymph diseases must see a medical professional)
